Children of Shanghai is a one-hour documentary, narrated by Bear Grylls, premiering on Sky Documentaries at 7pm on International Children’s Day, 1st June 2021. It tells the stories of the very first fostered children in China, and of the charity, Care for Children, that began this process — with amost one million orphans now having been placed in families.
Fiona wrote and recorded the score for this film, writing to picture and blending orchestral music with subtle Asian influences to create a distinctive sound world that perfectly captures the essence of this unique story.
